Things to see (click on photo's)

Cotinet is the right place to visit some remarkable places like Bordeaux and Arcachon with the highest dune in Europe (2 hours drive) or you can drive north to Oradour-sur-Glane, the village destroyed by the nazi's during WWII (1hrs40). You can take a guided tour in the cognac wineries (of course don't forget the tasting!) in Cognac (45 min) or explore the Dordogne (Brântome, the caves of Lascaux, Rocamadour).
Finally the Atlantic is about 2 hours drive (Royan, La Rochelle). Many things to visit in less than 2 hours drive.
